Are they really this weak? I broke 2 already with mild offroad jumping and a friend broke one so far.

What so I upgrade them to?

Never broke a stock upper arm, and haven't broke the adjustable ones I have now, if only the lower ones would stay together!

Maybe I got part of a bad batch??

Should I go aluminum....or titanium ...or would the upgraded adjustable ones from HPI be strong enough?

I took it out last night to the pits around my house and was doing 8-10ft jumps and didn't land them all clean but never broke another one.

Aluminum is no good for bashing, aluminum will break or bend easy. You can always bend it back but after a few bends it becomes very weak. And costly to buy.Aluminum is good for the BLING factor.

If you want strength go with RPM's and nothing else!!!!!!
(plus RPM's have a life time replacement plan!!)

Oh,and I almost forgot.........stay away from Integy Aluminum like it's the plague!!!!! You have been warned

Hope this stuff helps!!

I've broken a few things on my savage but the upper susp. arm was the only thing that suprised me I . I've put the adjustable yppers on and they have been great. If I break any more it will be rpm arms all around.

Lightbulb

When I wiped the right front corner off my X (damned curbs) I replaced the front lowers and uppers with RPM and no problem since.
