heres one of mine, 40" modded blu baby from rc groups plans. flies ok but it has an awfull stall. I can't put the nose up more then 5 degrees

Here's some of my planes. I have a lot more in different stage of completion (KIT, ARF or rebuilding...) but those are airworthy...

My Cub did that when I put it on floats. I found out that the curve on the front of the floats was generating lift and making the plane fly like it was really tail heavy. I added nose weight and it was a different plane. I have the CG marked. With wheels it balances level on the CG marks. With floats I have it with the nose down about 10 or 15 degrees when it's sitting on the CG marks. Hope it works for you like it does for me. Dave |
