Anyone use this stuff?

http://www.thelastglue.com/

I wonder how it holds on balsa. The guy that works for me said it is awesome.
(he is not a modeler though)

Re: The last glue......

If you look at the Safety Data it appears to be CA based, so I imagine it would work fine.

Re: The last glue......

It is expensive, so I thought it would be nice to get some input from people that have used it. If it is no better then the cheaper CA for balsa then I won't bother.

Re: The last glue......

I noticed that. I can buy a LOT of CA for that price.

Re: The last glue......

IF true, the two main selling points for me would be: 1. Does not dry out as fast (supposed to last two years); 2. Does not instantly bond skin.

Re: The last glue......

...as well, I read that the glue works on "Styrofoam." I wonder how it performs on Depron or EPP? Interesting.

Re: The last glue......

HUh! Sounds like Super Phatic! Except SP has an indefinite shelf life & its not a CA.

Well, I have bought a few bottles of that stuff branded under another name (same German made glue, exact same bottle, and anaerobic cure). Got it at Toledo a few years.

Unlike all the current CA that cures when EXPOSED to the air, this stuff kicks over ONLY when it is deprived of oxygen.

IE, when you press two mating parts tightly together, or use on a nut and bolt like threadlock. I wouldnt think it would be very good on wood. I bought the stuff to use on metal and plastic where regular CA doesnt work so well all the time, and for this it was fine.

I dont think I would want to replace my regular CA with it, but thats just one guy's opinion...
