Light Painting with a NightFlyer

Snuck onto the golf course near my house last night with my nightflyer, my camera and a tripod. Actually I've been looking forward to doing this all winter since I got the DSLR.

Anyways, here are some of the results. The full album is here:

Here are some of the highlights:

Enjoy,

Tom

Re: Light Painting with a NightFlyer

You should be able to see the full details here:

https://picasaweb.google.com/lh/phot...full-exif=true

I used my kit lens for all of them because it's the widest angle lens I have.
Set ISO 200
Aperture 5.6.

Basically for all of them, I triggered the shutter... flew a little and then closed the shutter. Lots of experimenting, but that's half the fun.

For that one I realized I would be silhouetted against the sky if I ran to the top of the ridge and flew from there. So I put the plane behind the ridge... triggered the shutter and then ran to the top of the ridge and flew for a while while trying not to move.

Tom
