I also setup up a "new to me" 35% edge with 5 777s at the beginning of July. Very fast and lots of power, and the edge is very responsive. Its got about 25 flights on it now. Super happy with both the plane and servos.

Will be ordering more this weekend while they are on sale at PRO-RC. They are going in my next project. 42% pilot edge. Will be using 7 on it.

I believe there are currently 25-27 mks777 servos in service within the EM at this moment!!! Probably be close to 40 by the end of September.

I still like some of the features of the Futaba's like soft start and SBUS but pretty expensive price adder for those features, LOL.

If / when I do another project, going to be very torn between Futaba and MKS.
Good to hear. I have read where at least one guy had some jittering on these new ones....could be his setup as well.

Thanks for the update!!

Any chance of having an example of the crow setup with some starter setting for those who don't want to rock?

Great flight Ken! congrats on the first tail touch, where is the water bottle when you need it.

It's basically flaperons but instead of having the ailerons drop down they flew up a couple degrees. Helps steady the wings in high alpha

LOL!!! Bass Ackwards!!

Steve - I'll post a quick little programming how to since I see you are running a Fut MZ. Really easy and the step function is so handy and can also be used for sequencing of doors / retracts if you are into warbirds or jets!!

The theory on jets/warbirds is that the bit of aileron reflex creates washout so the tips do not stall before the root. Very effective. Not quite as effective with our full-length ailerons but still helps!

LOL!! Better clear that with the CD - He's a little anti-3D these days and may try to influence your scores if he sees any kind of Hucking . I won't type out what he calls us

I'll post a quick little video tonight of how I set-up Crow. Probably 5 different ways to do it, but I'll show you this way.

Re: The never ending engine thread, East-West

Anyone have ideas of how to mount cans externally on a plane with no tunnel! (That doesn't look like crap)

Re: The never ending engine thread, East-West

I lost my notices again, I must have missed one. Most of you know that Flying Giants was taken over so to speak and Sleepy was canned. A new forum has been started and DA is going to give away a free DA50 in a draw when the membership of the forum reaches 1,000 members. It is currently at a little over 300. Not bad for only a couple days. If you want in on the draw slip over and join.
