If you watch the for sale ads on here for a while, you may be able to get a good deal on a used model.
I have seen WH, BME, GP and Lanier models in good shape go for half their retail price or less.

with the da50 i would go with the Stinger 120 (80") I think you would be happier with the performance.

I use a rcignitions modified G62 on the 120 with great performance and it still slows down to a crawl for landings.

Just gave my last one to a club member and going to start a new build in January scratch build with a 2 piece wing some lightning mods hoping for 14.5 lbswith the G62

Just my opinion

That might be about right or perhaps I should say I agree with that conclusion. I have been flying a Stinger 120 with a Zenoah G45 for 2 years. Nice fun flyer which would do basic aerobatics but not overpowered for sure. The DA 50 would be lighter up front and more pull on uplines. I did modify the Stinger 120 and chopped 1 3/4 inches off the nose ie moved the firewall back because of the additional weight of the G45. Also ran elevator and rudder servos in the rear to help balance. The DA50 would be lighter and would likely mount the servos farther forward. In various searches on the net it seems that people tend to run G62's in the Giant Stingers - 84 inch wingspan, and G45's in the Stinger 120's.
