So is everyone getting a Logo 10 for their back yard now that the kit is down to around $250CDN?

Borsche

That is the bare bones kit. You still need a brushless motor, ESC, 10 cell pack, and carbon blades would help.
Is this direct from USA ?

Yup. It includes the LLS head geometry and blades so it isn't totally stripped down though.

I think Aero-Model is the N.A. distributor and has set the price for all sellers at $219US. The regular sellers such as FXAeroModels are all showing this price.

Skip the 10-cell pack.

You could also get this plus a Hacker A30 8XL + Hacker 40-O Heli ESC for $399US. Adding a 5s2p pack and UBEC costs $599US.

Does a Freya kit alone cost $599 or are the engine, RX pack, governor and two years of fuel extra?

We're nuts. If we were concerned about price, we wouldn't be flying helis at all! Only an addict forks out this much money to get a fix.

To put things in perspective for those interested in how things are changing, a Logo 10 combo fairly similar to this last year would have cost about $900.

That's a pretty decent price. for the aforementioned considering a T-rex SE about $600.00 CAD.

Hobby hobby has a Century Swift in stock for around 750.

This includes the motor, ESC, Lipo battery. Everything except the radio, gyro and charger.
