Looks like a re-work of the old 3D Jam.

HEAVY.... and brittle... ask Fodder.

Heavy.....define heavy....

5lbs on 930 squares is not bad.....the YS 63 is more than capable for that weight.

Sorry, commenting on the 3D Jam that resembles this quite remarkeably...

... heavy wing loading for 3D.....

I flew it... and handed the Tx back.

A pic after Fodder's modification: :P

Boy, I really vaguley remember that plane....

I like the new shorter wingspan mod....

Who made it? Was it Kyosho, or EZ models?

The Flip should rock pretty good, I think it is based a lot off the Madness kitted by ZN Line which was designed by CPLR (who also designed the Flip) so I think that it should fly quite well.

Hobbico should have it to me in a few days, then maybe another week or so in between building my other two planes and I should be in the air with it.

Price.....

http://www2.towerhobbies.com/cgi-bin...?&I=LXCHZ5&P=7

A 140DZ........I dunno I think that might be a little overkill I would need to bolt the firewall to the tail to make sure it didnt come off I also think that the ground clearance wouldnt be quite sufficient for that 17" prop hehe, tundra tires might help there

My YS 63 will provide all the momentum required, 11K+ on a 13x6APC.

The Jam was EZ Models. The crash was the result of running out of air on the most spins possible in one minute.

FWIW the RCU funfly crowd seems to like the Flip. I like the look, its a pretty good looking plane in my opinion.
