Receiver compatibility:

IMHO yes, it will work fine as is responds to either shift - I considered them seriously before buying a Berg 4L, more expensive but full range. A friend has a couple of the O5S flying but with a Hitec Tx which has the same shift as Futaba - go ahead but remember that you will get a bit less range.

As long as the receiver is shift selectable, and your TX is switched to PPM. Won't work in PCM mode.

(If it's a Futaba Conquest six channel PCM TX, there is no way to switch to PPM)

Receiver compatibility -

Just realized that the Hitec has more range than the average micro Rx - up to a mile they reckon! I don't know the Fitaba 7 CAP but I planned to use it with my 6EXA and 4EXA as well as Hitec Focus III SS! As long as it's PPM, and this Rx doesn't care what the shift is, it will work I'm sure. Get a single-conversion crystal for it of course, my friend had endless trouble with his until we found the dealer had sold him dual-conversion crystals!!! Simple but stupid mistake! Good luck

Even Tower sent me one with a DC crystal. Luckily I was headed to California so I traded it at Hitec in Poway for a single.
Told the guy I had made the trip just for the crystal. He looked like he may have believed me.
