Hello,

What can I say... I love my Yak. This model has be so well engineered. What I really like is the lack of pitch coupling which improves all facets of the flight envelope.

My setup is:
Motor: Hacker A20-22L
Prop: APC 10x3.8"
Controller: CC25
Battery: 3S TP 1320
AUW: 17oz

Here is the link to my video: Airfoilz Yak Video

More to come soon.

Enjoy,

Shaun

Hey guys,

Well I made a trip up island to an electric fly-in at Nanoose Bay. I'm happy to say that flying the Airfoilz Yak I won 3/4 events: 'Limbo' , 'Foamie Pylon Racing', and ' Freestyle Aerobatics'.

A lot of the pilots were interested in getting one after they saw how well it flew and was designed.

I'll be heading to a fly-in in Vancouver next weekend and will keep you posted.

Thanks for the heads up Manny. I was down in Arizona at the Arizona Electric Festival Fly-In a couple of weeks ago and one of the vendors was Airfoilz. Unfortunatley I didn't have enough room in my suitcase to bring one home. Lots of pilots flying Airfoilz planes. Very impressive!

Heres another one that we are just building now,
a little smaller than the airfoilz! but seems very durable,
we will be too cold to do any flying here for awhile!
