So your having to deal with a bell crank. Like others have said, its likely a geometry issue. I have a 35cc Quadra, mine appears to have the original bell crank arm. The rod between the carb and the bell crank is in the longest holes.

If memory serve me correctly, I went from a mid position on the servo arm to the outside hole on the other side of the bell crank arm. I see you have a DX9, it is easy to set your end points and a throttle curve to deal with the TX. I've always tried to make sure the geometry is set up correctly with the linkage, and messed with the fine tuning (travel) with the TX.

18-8 is the proper prop for that motor.

By the way, Why do they make the lettering so small in the first post of a subject. Hard for us old pharts to read it.
