Hey Mikey, we missed you buddy.

Too bad you couldn't make it we had a blast. It was a great way to start of the IMAC season.

A big THANK YOU to the club for donating the field, the organizers and everyone who helped out for making it a Awesome day!

Re: IMAC Primer - Stratford, Ontario

Well, the event was very well run and organized. Thanks to the Stratford club for the use of the field for the entire weekend.
Thanks also goes out to the Guuumme and Carlyle for every thing. The hobby needs more of these people. Carlyle the next 2010 xfc heli/ plane competitor. Keep throwin it down.
The weather had it's ups and downs but I know that lots of new and seasoned pilots were able to get some valuable set-up tips and advice on flying this year sequence.

It was an honor to do the Basic flight demo.

I want to give credit to all the new pilots who came out and made the first step in challenging them self's as RC pilots in Scale aerobatics. I hope everyone can get practicing at there home club and really show everyone what Scale aerobatics is really about.

Hope to see many of you at a contest this summer.

The night activities were exciting as well, A lit up heli demo a sparkling 200 led slow flyer and many more only in Stratford memories.

Many thanks to the Stratford club and al who helped especially Guuume and Carlisle.

It was an enjoyable weeken in spite of the weather and loosing the awning to the wind.

I think many of the new guys learnt something and seemed to enjoy it all. I know I did.

Re: IMAC Primer - Stratford, Ontario

My aerobatic kite is in the trailer now, It should be a blast to fly if it ever is too windy to fly again.
It just might never be this windy again, now that it's in the trailer now. I can hope.....

Re: IMAC Primer - Stratford, Ontario

I'll add my thanks for a great event as well. I was one of the IMAC beginners and had a great time. The Stratford guys are all great and very welcoming. As was everyone else at the event. I learned a lot and I'm eager to get out and start practicing.

Re: IMAC Primer - Stratford, Ontario

Thanks to everyone that helped make this event happen. This was my first ever exposure to IMAC; I had a great time and particularly appreciate all the help from more experienced IMAC flyers (such as Tom Hastie and Dave Rees in my case) who took the time to help familiarize us noobs with what it's all about!

Re: IMAC Primer - Stratford, Ontario

I'm certainly sorry I missed this event! I was hoping to go but was unsure if I was going to have to work the weekend (floor sander, tonnes of apartments always at the end of the month). Turns out I didn't have to work, but the weather sucked here! So not only did I miss a great learning experience, the only IMAC practice I got was on RF 4.5!

Oh well. I got some organizing done around my bench and some install work done on my Yak. Good times anyway!
