We were talking to one of our daughters that lives out near Grand Prairie and she mentioned it was snowing.

No thanks. You guys can keep it. That way we'll just be limited to the rain and 25MPH+ winds.

"Mother Nature Is a Bitch": I threw one of my aircraft in the woody wagon and headed to the field, I needed to put some time on the engine. As I crossed the bridge I checked the water, hummm, about 300 white caps to the acre. It was not that windy at my place! There is always a couple of idiots that will fly in the wind. Yeah there they were the two suspects with there sport planes doing helicopter style takeoffs and landings. there were several other guys there but they left there stuff in the vehicle. Meanwhile I was back at the garage working on a stand I needed to repair. I put a piece of plywood on my trailer and went back for my skill saw. The wind picked it up and flung it down the driveway. As I picked it up I noticed that there was an empty fertilizer bag just laying in the middle of the road, It was garbage day. As I was coming back from retrieving the plywood the wind picked up my empty garbage cans and flung them against the neighbors house and flung the lid another direction. I looked out on the street and there is that empty fertilizer bag just sitting there. I went back into the garage and and started to work, The wind had eased up so I whipped the stand outside on the trailer and went back in for the spray bomb. Just as I started to spray the wind came back. The paint was coming out about 2" then disappearing at a 90 deg. angle. I checked the road again there sits the empty fertilizer bag. All right old bag two can play this game. I turned the stand 90 deg. so my back was to the wind. I shook the can a few more times and started to spray, The wind changed 90 deg. and I got the same effect. Checked the street again and there sits the empty fertilizer bag. That was it I put everything in side and went and watched TV. "Don't fight Mother Nature."

I was going to go field spraying today, no snow but a minus 2C wind chill. Global warming, I think NOT!
