I've read elsewhere that it is but you could contact the maker directly and ask:

Here's what the manufacturer says about Goop

Subject: Goop

Hi

1. Is Goop affected by gasoline and oil for 2 cycle engines?

Yes goop will break down by gasoline making it ineffective.

2. Is it affected by methanol and oil mix for 2 cycle engines?

Yes same as above, but we do make a product that is impervious too any petroleum products and it is called SEAL-ALL.

Thanks

Seals

Ken,

That is good to know. I always thought it was fuel proof also.
However I don't care for it due to the funny odor it gives off.
What about the red Permex gasket sealer? maybe that would work for you as it is high temp rated also.

Good to know, but you didn't ask one big question (in my mind);

#3 Will GOOP stand up to the burned residue of the nitro methane and alcohol? (Exhaust port gasket)

Didn't think it was necessary to ask about residue as there is always some unburned fuel in the exhaust.

There is usually excess fuel during startup as well.

I figure that about covers it.

Sooner or later it will come into contact with raw fuel.

Perhaps;

But there is quite the difference between constant contact with a quantity of fuel (Gas tank application) and the occasional contact as the hot exhaust passes by a seal at 200 kph.

I realize that it will break down - just not as fast.

Personally:
I use it to make a gasket between the exhaust port and muffler. - It doesn't take much and I apply it with a toothpick.

It works well and lasts a long time.
