Check out the Q40's with the Nelsons and Jetts, there doing 10 laps, 2 1/2 miles just over a minute. Times 1:01-1:05.

It would be great to finally have some competition! Here's a video of what I got. He's only around 500 watts though.....mine was closer to 1000!!!! Not a lot faster though, as it takes a lot of power to gain any speed when you get close to 200 mph. I think I'm going to tame mine down and go with this guys set up. Mine is just too hard to launch and land with the extra weight.

Re: Xtreme Composite (E) Pylon Racer, anyone have one?

Sorry, mine is not in selling condition right now. I botched a hand launch, so she needs some repairs.

Sucks that Jiri isn't making them anymore, it's a rockin' airframe.

Well Greg, you should when you have time shoot me a link or post a link to a rig like yours fully decked with what I'd need. I'd love to set one of those up for next summer for sure!

Whoooooo, post 1500!!!

Re: Xtreme Composite (E) Pylon Racer, anyone have one?

Well, this is the best place to find out what you need to make your wallet lighter: http://www.rcgroups.com/high-performance-9/

Icare carries a few airframes, and soaringusa.com has a whole bunch. The Sunracer seams to be very popular, so maybe check out the thread on that one.
