Search RC Universe, the PW thread is about 3000 posts long.

http://www.rcuniverse.com/showthread...Extra+300s+arf

Last week I saw the World Model PW Extra 300s fly with a brison 3.2, a very nice combo, I think both arfs are about the same size.
Had tons of power for the airframe.

GP Extra 300S

I am in the process of finishing mine. I cannot comment on the flight characteristics yet, but have read good thngs about it. Great Planes has a video clip as well that you can download.
I am putting a 62cc Zenoah on mine and using as much throw as possible for 3D.
I have upgraded all the servo horns to metal, used ball link throughout, I am not a big fan of clevices for big planes (not even for small ones for that matter).

Good luck.

Ah well, been away for work for a week, and s such, did nothing for the past 10 days.
Wings are done, servo pushrods etc.
Elevators installed with servos and pushrods
Rudder installed with servos and pushrods.
Engine, engine servo, tank, cowl, and sanding the inside of the wing tubes for a better fit remain untouched. I was hoping to get it done quicker but work etc did not permit me to.
Good luck with yours.

Well the Zenoah 62 is installed with the Vibra Loc from B&B, Slimline pitts style smoke muffler.

Some minor work is left including throttle pushod and servo, and finishign touches.

With this power, it should perform well especially in 3D.

regards

Great, I think this plane will fly very well. Good luck. It should come together very quickly.
I will install a smoke system as well.
Will post some pictures after the test flight.

I see the paint match on the canopy is a tad dark. I thought GP was going to rectify this. Perhaps drop them an email. But, WOW! what a nice looking plane boys! Have fun!
