I love my 12X as well but it's going to be nice when this plane gets re-wired with the X-bus and 28 channels to play with.... (JR 28X )

Ya Gordon!! I had a 12x also and it was a great radio - super simple programming and nice feel but very limited programming compared to the Futaba's which I see the value in with the jets

Sandro is getting a 28x also, which I bet will be incredible! We're using the 12x on this one because we can get away with 12ch with 5 matchboxes..... lots of servos on this beast, LOL!!

Cool, I think I may have one of these...it's the little black box right? Are you running it off 2S?

I wasn't sure what sort of flexibility there was on the lights. On the f-104 Anti-cols flash at 80 per minute, navigation lights are selectable, either steady or flash at 40 per minute. The nose gear light is a taxi light, main gear lights are landing lights, can select either or all. Wasn't sure if I could get to that level of scale with the air power unit.

I have also considered this brand after hearing some good reports:

Advantage is the English language....

Yep... Gonna run it off 2S. It's exactly that... The little black box (see pic)

I'm not sure if it is capable of what you mention.. Highly doubt it but it has programming on it that I need to read up on tonight!!

Re: Skymaster A10 / Twin Cheetahs

Last night I went to Home Depot and bought a piece of the 2" thick R10 Styrofoam and made up a baseplate for the A10.

It helps protect the bottom of the fuse for transportation and gets it high enough off the ground for a few of the fins to not constantly be getting knocked off. It also slides nice on the carpet of the vehicles or the bed of the trailer and doesn't leave chunks of foam behind, LOL

My trusty hot-knife works wonders here

Re: Skymaster A10 / Twin Cheetahs

And I finished installing the accessories on the exterior of the fuse.

The 2 lower-side strakes I glued on with silicon so that they will bend off if accidentally bumped however they will not touch the ground with the baseplate under the A10.
