your liner in the bell might be wearing down

Causing the clutch shoes to not grab right (might be slipping) which would cause the bell to heat up. The bearings in the bell might be going which might cause it to heat up. What heli is it were talking about? My old shuttle use to heat up but that was partly the design of the clutch system, it wasnt the traditional clutch drive that is currently used in most helis and there wasnt a liner in the bell worked of a friction fit with springs.
