Has anybody tried running real flight 7.5 on any of these tablets?
Looks like it would be great for traveling.

Re: Real flight 7.5 and Microsoft Surface

Which Surface are you looking at getting? If it has an accelerated video card with enough video RAM, you might be ok. The RAM and CPU are items you can check from the box. I can't remember if RF needs the disk in at all times but consider that if you buy a portable without a DVD drive.

Re: Real flight 7.5 and Microsoft Surface

The Surface Book or a higher-spec Surface Pro 3/4 should handle sims just fine. I'd stay away from the i3 SP configs and the i5 SP3 may be marginal (the i5 SP4 has more GPU power due to the newer revision processor). The SB config with GPU should scream.

Note the SB and SP3/4 are very high resolution displays, so they do need some horsepower in the GPU department

The regular Surfaces are pretty light on CPU/GPU and are not really suited to gaming beyond flash games or older software.

Did you ever get an answer for this? I have a pro 3 and was thinking about giving it a try.
