Hi Everyone,

Im looking for some advice on how to setup and program a Variable Pitch prop motor. Where can I buy the motor assembly, as a kit or preassembled? Is there a cheap site out there? I have checked hobby king and they have a couple but not sure the best kind to buy.

also do I require a larger receiver? Right now I fly indoor foamies with only a 4 channel receiver using all the ports.

I've setup the Eflite Showstopper. Manual is below for reference:

You need a minimum of 5 channels (Throttle, Ailerons, Rudder, Elevator, Pitch).
The Pitch servo controls the pitch of the Blades and is mounted near the motor.

You'll need to create a helicopter model on your radio.

Normal mode gives you throttle control with fixed pitch blades (to simulate a normal airplane setup).
Idle Up sets the blade speed and then throttle controls positive and negative pitch (like a heli).

Sorry, I don't know about the HK versions.
