I used the GPS co-ord and get the field at 1144 Townline Raod. Can someone verify the 911 emergency number at the field. IS there one there. Street view show nothing but it was from 2012

Re: Flying Tigers Scale Aeroabatic Encounter 2015

Hi guys - not sure where Jim is - probably working.

The field is not hard to find. If you look on a map south of Hamilton, look for #56 south, south of Binbrook. Hwy 56 runs down to intersect Hwy 3.

The field is near Hwy 56 and Townline Road. If you are coming south on 56, after Indiana Road, at Townline you turn right, come down Townline a couple hundred yards on your left (south side) will be the field entrance. Turn in and follow the gravel road into the field - curves around to your right.

If you come north from Hwy 3 (east of Cayuga) then Townline is your first left.

Not hard to find at all. Look at a map and it is easy.

I am down at the Nats in Muncie - rained out today and half of Tuesday. Have been soaked for 2 days now. I am judging and helping the CD Mike Karnes. Brutal weather except Monday.

OK Rick - will send the OPP to find you LOL. I am sure you will be there. Jim has confirmed all is still a go for a one day Saturday contest. Looking forward to seeing you all at FT. We are drowning in water down here in Muncie.

Todd,

We DON'T havea 911 Emergancy Number at the field as we are not a permanent residency. We use to and had garbage p/u to untill someone in the County realized there was no house at the end of the driveway. LOL!

Our closest neighbour's 911 Number is 1168. Entrance to the field is the next driveway.

Couldn't get anyone to open field and won't be able to make it there tomorrow night.

Anyone needing access to the field Friday pm me and ai'll give you instructions.

For those coming up from the QEW there is MAJOR Road Work beeing done on Centenial Parkway (HWY.56), from the QEW ALL the way into Binbrook.

You would probably be better to come up the Redhill Expressway to Stone Church Road. Right onto Stone Church, drive past the Esso then left at the lights onto Pritchard Road.

Pritchard Road to Rymal Road and hang a left at the lights. Travel about 800m on Rymal and make a right onto Trinity Church Road. Take Trinitys Church road about 10km to Kirk Road. Left onto Kirk (only way to go) and continue to Hwy. 56. Right onto Hwy.56 and continue about 8k to Townline Road, hang a right onto Townline and the field is about 700m on your left.

Any questions, ask!

I think Steve R and Rick were planning to camp. I'm planning to come out this afternoon for some practice.

I'm camping out too. Planning to get there later in the afternoon to do some final trim adjustments, that and practice I hope.

Re: Flying Tigers Scale Aeroabatic Encounter 2015

Based on an exchange with Jim I am going to head down to the field Friday and should be there around 2:30 PM to meet another pilot. So I might see some of you this afternoon. I will have to head out by 5 PM to come home so not sure who will be there after that.
