Re: 50% Exclusiv Modellbau Ultimate Bipe Build Thread

Well, Since Maidenfest has been cancelled and the planes need to be maidened to attend the funfly next weekend.

Here is the maiden

Took a bit to get the carbs primed as you will see in the video.
Then during the flight you will see lots of smoke. Thats not a smoke system Thats how rich it was

I have since tweeked the needles and now have 7 flights on the airframe. It still needs to be leaned a bit more on the lowend. Its still puffing smoke and the midrange on low flybys is quite burbly.
I was hoping to get out again this morning to do a few more tuning adjustments. But according to the weather radar. Rain is rolling in by 10am

Might have to take a sick day this week to get the last few tweeks done. ANd I still need to run smoke through it. Havent done that yet either

ANyway... Here is the maiden flight

Oh !!!!!! Try not to pay to much attention to the natterings between Trevor and myself

Re: 50% Exclusiv Modellbau Ultimate Bipe Build Thread

Because of its size and weight, 51 lbs
I was expecting it to feel sluggish and heavy.

Not the case at all. Its actually quite nimble and tracks really well.

Jim will not like hearing this, but.... It harriers really well
Last flights yesterday, I was brave enough to bring it down to about 30 ft in a harrier and rotate into a hover. It feels that solid in the air
