I bent the prop shaft on my Valach 120 cc 4 stroke engine.

Who in Canada can I send it to, so it can be made to run true again?

Disassembly of the engine is a must. My dad straightened one for me many years ago. He chucked the threaded end in a lathe and turned it over quite slowly tapping it with a soft face hammer at the proper time until it ran true. You can usually find someone locally that can do the job. If not contact me, I will give it a try.

I could straighten it but you would probably never see the engine again.

Really though, any machine shop should be able to set it straight.

Re: Bent prop shaft - who repairs

I was able to find a qualified repair shop that handles Valach, Moki and Kolm 4 stroke engines.

This gentleman was recommended by Valach to me for the repairs. They are somewhat complicated because it is a four stoke engine.
