Re: Looking for a slope to fly around Montreal

Bonjour Charles, I am looking for local soaring clubs but there are not any that I can find in Montreal.
Montreal looks like it has a few small mountains close to it, you may want to check those out.

What is the extent of you're experience with soaring or aircraft in general?
What model of glider do you have?

Re: Looking for a slope to fly around Montreal

I flown a little some gliders when I was younger.
Presently I have helis that I like to fly with near my house.
I am not an expert but I am able to fly. I don't like acrobatics I prefer realistic style.
I plan to buy myself a 100'' ASW 28 from HK.

Hey Wamou when I flew gliders at MATS (Montéal Area Thermal Soarers) on sod fields in Coteau Station just outside of Vaudreuil pass St-Lazare . We use to go sometimes in the Eastern Townships at Mont Glenn or a montain close by. It was nice and the trail was good. Good Luck and Best Regards.
