quick Q about charging a battery

hey,
Just a quick question...
i have a single 3600mAh NiMH battery ment for a 1/10 EP car/buggy/truck that i got for my glowplug igniter, how many amps should i charge it at ? and what peak sensitivity should i set it to ?

I think I do my Stick packs for my Roto Starter at, 5.0A with Delta Peek set at 30

on my mellinium pro's, i do .9 amps @ 48 mv

tried it at 900mAh, and it vented . then voltage went down to .5V within 10 minutes. i think i fried it already. and it was a $15 cell .
sooooooo, what now ? thats stupid though. my AA 2300's took 1A before and didnt vent. got warm-hot though . and i still use them today and they hold a charge well.

I would be careful using that for your glow ignitor, I blew out two plugs trying to do that last weekend!!

Kind of embarrasing going to the hobby store to buy a plug just 20 mins after buying the last one. Figured it out eventually though.....

Stick with the D-cell or get a hobby power panel to hook a bigger battery through. Just some advice!!
