Re: Personal, full size quadcopter

Lots of pretty "concept machines" around like that with nothing much to back them up!

But things are getting to the point to take some others seriously.
These guys are taking orders for year end deliveries!
I read somewhere the target price is going to be around $12500USD

Re: Personal, full size quadcopter

Unfortunately, that Kittyhawk is a toy - a fascinating one but still a toy.

For more pics and description of the personal quadcopter and other interesting projects the manufacturer is up to, check here:

http://www.flyingmag.com/workhorse-u...-vtol-in-paris

step vans already in use,
pick-up truck
prototype multi rotor helicopters for package delivery,
battery-time in use-location software

Apparently there are already some 5,000 orders for their USD $50,000 pickup. There is also collaboration with some big name companies for the step vans.

Re: Personal, full size quadcopter

Yep just a toy that actually flys! With video!
Been to the other site! The other is a static concept model!
Wake us up when they show it flying! Yawn!
