Last Sunday we went to the Camrose Flying Clubs annual Fly In Breakfast.

In the first hour over 70 planes landed at the little airport..approximatly one every 40 seconds

I took a bunch of picture to use as referance for possible future builds.

Re: True scale Airplanes

Thanks Marc for the nice pictures. It must have been a great meet. I like the Aircoupe and the Air Camper. Look at the size of the control surfaces on the camper.

Re: True scale Airplanes

Hi Marc, Have you got any more pics of the Taylorcraft? I am working on the Ikon kit and that color scheme could be a contender

Re: True scale Airplanes

Thanks, Marc. I did a quick search and found that last one. I definitely lean towards white & blue for a Taylorcraft.

Also one creampuff L-19 there!!! Fly-In's are always a lot of fun, I wish I had more time to partake in them!
Check out the COPA website for fly-in's in your local area!

Re: True scale Airplanes

I've got a random question... On that amphibious, how do they get that front wheel bay to seal up tight?

Maybe it's out of the water when it's static and there's a bilge for water taken on during operation?

Re: True scale Airplanes

If I recall its been awhile sense I last worked on one of those Amphibs, but the nose gear doors do not seal tight.

Its actually a neat airplane, The one Owner use to tell me that he would land on the water put the gear down and taxi up the beach to his cottage. Talk about the good life
