Re: Wingham Jet Rally 2016.
Many thanks Blair, Tamara, and all of the behind the scenes folks who made Wingham Jets such a fun time! Cheryl and I not only enjoyed the event but also the beautiful areas of Wingham, Benmiller and Goderich. We're already planning for Wingham Jets 2017!

Re: Wingham Jet Rally 2016.
Many thanks to Blair and the gang of volunteers. You really out do your selves every year by hosting such a great show.
I had such a good time even though I lost some turbine blades just after rotation on my boomerang. The L39 and F18 kept me in the sky for the remainder of the weekend. Events like this remind me that the "jet guys" really are the best in the hobby. Looking forward to wingham 2017!! I got this pic sent to me that I had to post of my F18.

Re: Wingham Jet Rally 2016.
Had a great time at Wingham. Thanks to Blair and his crew, y'all did an outstanding job.
Thanks to all of the Canadian's for making me feel welcome. We will be back next year. I guess the highlight of the trip was staying at the Lindon Arms Motel. Well at least the water was wet and A/C was cold. Bob'O |

Posted this in the Wingham Jets Pictures thread, but thought I would add it here, for anyone that might not be subscribed to the other thread.

Thanks for posting,
I love the shot of my yellow F104 on landing, any way I can get a copy of it? Richard |

Re: Wingham Jet Rally 2016.
rudder failure on the f104 as ali was flying it. he had to leap frog over peters glider as he had no choice but to get it down. it was an amazing save of both models, but some "real p!$$ poor work from both spotters". a direct quote from winghams safety director.

Re: Wingham Jet Rally 2016.
That is an incorrect statement.
I called Glider landing, i had 2 spotters, Tony called Glider landing and Reeaz called glider landing and we got the OK and I landed. No one heard a call for the F104 landing and besides the F104 spotter should have advised the pilot that there is traffic on the runway, rudder problem or not. In fact all of the US guys who came never called take-off or landing, they just took off and landed at their leisure no matter who was in line to startup and fly next. So please get your facts correct before you blame my spotters since they did their task appropriately and the safety director has the facts incorrect. Quote:
