I guess it was Alberta's turn this year. On the coast we're having one of the wettest - hence worst - winter flying seasons ever.

Oh, and did I mention.....

Saturday we had beautiful weather for flying but our field is way to soft to even walk on
Actually January has been very warm here.

Saturday was great out at the Bramalea field. As the day wore on, the field got wetter and wetter. A couple of times on takeoff my Piper got one wheel in a puddle and the drag forced a ground loop. It looked strange seeing water splashing from the tires on takeoff and landing.

Also, retrieval from "off strip landings" got soggier as well. (there were a number of those.)

c'mon be nice...maybe I will bring some sunshine down there with me.... Be sure you get a good nights sleep..I'd hate to get woke up in the back seat by being wrapped around a tree somewhere along the way...

We got 30 days of rain in January and my last flight was back in October . So I got an excuse for being grouchy!
