Went to field in different car and forgot traing aids, so I forced myself to fly anyhow. It was nervy but not that bad. The swirly gusting wind was worse and almost made me tip over once, but corrected in time. After a tank and a half, I had enough of the constant 90 degree wind changes and decided to let the heli live for another day.

Yeehaw.

on my 7th time hovering i decided the gear was holding me back... so i ripped it off and started flying with just gear.hehehe its quite exilerating, but ever since then been flying with out training gear and have done 2 forward flights... its easier with outt the training gear.

I will reattach the gear when I start nose in hover. Wind is starting to get consistantly gusty, so that might wait until next spring now. I'll just keep practicing my current "skills".

Yup,

the wind has been bad (not consistent). Other than one extra tank, I haven't flown it since the last "upgrade". Luckily I'm having a hoot with the Hummingbird. I flew it in the living room last night; great practice.

A word to the wise, don't hover over the bucket where you put the fireplace ash into
