Looking forward to whidbey, my favorite event of the year. I have not heard much about a roll call of Canadians showing up this year. So far its just me, Paul D, Silvain, and Alan. no other confirmations...

Hey Bill, I hear you and Roberto are the guys running the show this year. (thank you...) Lest us know if there's anything we can do to help...

Kelly
Kelly, yes Roberto and I have taken over to try and follow in Al and Bob's footsteps. Thanks for the offer, we seem to have everything running smoothly so far. The WIRCS club members really shine for this event. 28 club members have filled volunteer spots!

..yeah...that has messed me up some...one of the clubs I belong to has an event traditionally scheduled for the 3rd weekend in Sept, and it took 2 years to convince them to move back a week (among other things, the weather is better, and it would allow a couple of us to hit Princeton as well) And now Princeton moved back a week as well !!!

You know looking at Chipper tonight, Bruce, your right I don't think you will make it accross the border with her. She looks pretty dangerous! Look out America Chipper's on her way and she doesn't know how to accept the word no!

Re: Jets Over Whidbey (JOW)

Hey everyone, we're just a couple of days away from JOW 2012.

I have to give a shout out to our generous supporters. Below are just some of the prizes available for the drawing at the event. We'll do our drawing at the banquet Saturday night, but you need not be present to win. Entries for prizes are limited to registered pilots only. One entry per pilot will automatically be generated upon registration.

Duralite Flight Systems

Jack has generously sent us a complete set-up for turbine aircraft including 2 Duralite RX battery packs, 1 Duralite ECU battery and a Powerbox Competition SRS ready for the newest radios of any major brand. Wow!

BVM

Bob Violett Model Jets has been a supporter of JOW for many years and always generously supplies us with a great variety of their products which are a huge hit with the participants.

A big thanks to both companies. Their years of participation in the RC industry providing us with superior service and great products has ensured the growth and enjoyment of our fine hobby. Please keep them in mind and support them as they support us.

You must have warned the border crossing at Sumac. They delayed us for an hour going through our trailer. Thankfully Chipper didn't bite them but I sure was tempted.

The APB was only on Chipper, not the trailer. We will see what they do with us tomorrow. I told you Chipper has that guilty little look to her. See you on Friday.
