Savage all the way......

For about a year now I have been beating my Savage SS like a red headed step child, that owes me money.1 broken engine mount,1 bent dogbone,1 broken dogbone. It's seen 15-20 feet of air easy.....hit many curbs, walls, parked car's,parking blocks, signs, bearier stumps at 60k(the kind you see at baseball dimonds)....and almost everything else you can think of.

I will never get rid of it.......as far as the MT class is concerned,I have a Savage and a Revo......the Revo performes and the Savage NEVER dies,no other MT even catches my eye anymore I am perfectly content

Except the new XL:GRIN:

Go for it........

I have the Savage 25 SS.....

My bast advise would be to get the following....Savage 4.6 shafts & dog bones $ cup's,the diff's in the 4.6 are a bit stronger also.

Good new is you will have a Savagelot's of parts available at great prices
My plan is to eventually get a Savage X and see which of the 2 Savages is the toughest:GRIN:

Savage electric box....

Yeah, those electronic boxes can be a lil tricky. The best way I found to take it off is to push down(all the way) the front end of the truck. This will compress the shocks and give the radio box lid more room to move.
Hope this helps.....just take your time with it and you should be good.Try not to pinch any wires!!!
