Re: evolution .52nx
This engine requires a "long" plug like the OS "F" or standard EVO 2 and 4 Cycle Super Plug or Hanger 9 Sport Plug...the OS #8 is a "short" plug and probably won't work well for this engine.

Re: evolution .52nx
Ok thanks curt. I was just curious as I had some os #8 plugs laying around and was thinking of getting a new evolution motor so I was just curious if
The would fit. Thanks. Ryan |

Re: evolution .52nx
They will fit, but may not extend far enough down in the head to work properly. The OS #8 plugs do appear to work OK on the EVO.46 and smaller engines though.

Re: evolution .52nx
Ok thanks curt. I haven't purchased the motor yet but I was thinking of buying one to put in a 40 size escapade. I wanted to use an os but then I'll blow my budget for my kyosho Pitts as I wanna use a 4 stroke in that plane. My local club members told me to go for evolution as they as well priced and a good motor.

Re: evolution .52nx
This is a great engine, I had one in my GP extra 300 sp. The only problem I had was with the Pitts muffler, I had to plug one of the down pipes to get it to run right. something about the lack of back presure at WOT. I would stick with the stock muffler if you can.
