Goblin 380 with "traditional" landing gear

I have always liked the look of the Goblins, but I do prefer the original landing gear best. Already had the carbon fiber landing gear set from SAB but still wasn't thrilled with them. So I decided to make a set from sheet aluminum using the mounting brakets from SAB.

That looks so much better than the flippers and conrats on a nice homebuild job. I had a 500 sport and installed the conventional style landing gear that Sab offers and I was much happier except it has a V shape so trying a sliding auto is not recommended as it stops dead in the grass. I came very close to flipping it over front wards once.

Re: Goblin 380 with "traditional" landing gear

Thanks.
An added benefit of the new landing gear is they help a fair bit with orientation.

Re: Goblin 380 with "traditional" landing gear

maybe not the same as yours mine is off your rocker. made my own skates and traded off the flippers for a wing. If uploading to this site didn't require a go between like (photobucket) you'd see it fast enough. meantime keep posting in the ever popular and amazing world of rc helicopters (which transport canuk seems to think is worthy of grounding along with all the drone mess they want to play with, are they retarded?).
