the small ones taught me to fly, I am finding it hard to give them up actually. Timing will first depend on whether or not my Titan X50 goes...

Re: Titan X 50

Well I took the X50 out for a blast the other day, forgot just how well it flew seeing the maiden was late last fall. Almost ordered a new nitro kit but have realised I don't need one this one is awesome enough for me. Looking forward to an awesome year!!!

Re: Titan X 50

The carbon tail, PV0523-1 has been discontinued, if you don't have stock you will have to use an ugly aluminum one after a crash... I have ordered the last one from GH, you might want to pickup a spare while you can...

Re: Titan X 50

Thanks for the tip. I am going to hunt down another kit, I'd like to find a flybarless version to try. After seeing one brand I fly disappear I think I am just staying main stream from now on.

Re: Titan X 50

Thunder tiger has a nice upgrade kit to flybarless, which I used to upgrade mine. Made a huge difference, combined with an AR7200BX it flies really well. At my field thunder tiger's have started to re-appear, it is hard to know what will be mainstream since a few years ago Thunder Tiger was everywhere. A couple of years ago Align was everywhere, now it is more Blade and SAB...

Re: Titan X 50

Well there are only a handful of local guys "five" in total and three of them have Thunder Tiger nitro's now. The shop in Winnipeg has started to stock more parts and a couple kits now to support the guys, Kerry is a really nice guy and knows helicopters as well. He has even brought in a 550E arf heli for someone wanting an almost ready to fly in large size. So most of my helicopter stuff is ThunderTiger. Excellent quality and service, most of the guys have noticed that and are following.

Seen these ones from Canomod? Nice thing about them is the free change any colour/lettering on the canopy.
