Jetronics valves?

Remove this ad - become a site supporter!
Guys,
I just sold a plane of mine that had three jetronics valves. Two 2-way and one brake valve. They all worked perfect and were reliable. Put the new owners RX in the model and none of the three valves repsond.
Any thoughts?
Thx,
Sean

Please elaborate. Should be the same power. It has the same A123 6.6V packs that I used. I had a Futaba 6014 RX in there with a 12Fg TX. He has a spektrum 12 ch RX with expander and an 18 channel tx. I didn't see anything I the instructions about frame rate.

Re: Jetronics valves?

Did you use the same channels to work the valves. On Futaba low channels can use a higher (2024?) resolution, can these valves handle this frame rate?

Try hooking the valve to channel 12 and see if the problem exists.

Re: Jetronics valves?

I believe they are in x-2 and x-3 at the moment. I'm not a spektrum guy so I have no idea what the expander communicates at....I'm a simple Futaba guy. Lol.

Re: Jetronics valves?

Those valves are programmable. Is there a way to erase the program and start over from scratch?

Re: Jetronics valves?

This happen to me before you will need to reprogram the values. the values need to relearn the new RX. Get the instruction from JetTronic site.

Re: Jetronics valves?

Thanks for he feedback guys. It actually turned out that his spektrum channel xpander wasn't getting power via the rx. When we plugged a battery into the expander directly it powered the valves and they could be set. Spektrum is foreign to me unfortunately so troubleshooting was confusing.
