I have found myself flying more and more nitro and gasser last year, with less and less electrics due to the much longer flights I get with the former types.

Last week I got the old Predator Max 90 nitro with Rotor Tech 710mm blades out flying. It hadn't been flown in at least 6 years. I had forgotten how well this thing flew and autoed with the YS91ST, weighing in at only 11.4 pounds fully fueled (at the beginning of the flight) and only 10.2 pounds at the end of the tank. I also really appreciated the 10+ minute flights compared to the 5 minute flights of the electrics....also the fuel and go facility.

Looks like I will be burning a lot more nitro fuel this summer.

Re: Predator Max 90

LOL... so true. With my gasser and 45+ minutes per tank, running out of fuel is the last of my concerns when I go up.

It also keeps the bugs down out here as well. I'm ready for a new nitro project myself actually, just eyeing up the N640 as a thought.
