WOW, did I just got punished this race, first turn and final corner on the last lap when Neil went for a coffee break. Its ok, atleast I have some good excuses. I had none for my 4x4 performance other than driver fail
I ended up finishing 6th in the 2wd. I ran a Traxxas Slash

I'm not trying to steal this thread, but is Sid's Raceway strictly for racing or do they allow access to the track for us non-racers?

Theres tons of non racers, but it is a race track. Its directional so you go with the flow of traffic. Sat / Sunday or a holiday you can get out there with your stampede and run it if you want. Heck, I have seen 'the source' hummers out there running (not advised).

The track is pretty decent

If you ever decide to get a 2wd or 4x4 short course or heck, anything, I got room under the canopy for ya

A "the source" hummer running at Sid's?! That would be a video to see! LOL! Thanks for the offer under the canopy. I'll have to make a trip out some time (maybe tryout my Rustler) because the track looks nice from your videos.

You should have seen when the kid went to pull a U turn at the end of the straight. He met the slash that was almost WOT

Not that I know of. Ive seen young kids race there before.

However its not uncommon to be at sids and hear people freaking the heck out and swearing like mad. It's 1 reason I stopped taking my son. The F bombs got to be a bit much so I would tell you that the track is not 100% family friendly. Some people don't care if there are kids they, they don't censor themselves.
