Large scale this season?

Just putting a feeler out to you Jay - trying to find out if you're interested in letting the large scale guys practise and race at your track in an organized way this coming season. Theres a growing number of bashers with large scale that want to hit the tracks, and their interist is starting to show.
Whats the word?

Of all the tracks Gump, Hardcore would possibly be the best suited for the 1/5 cars seeing it has nice wide lanes.

Controlled practice would easily solve the problem of running with smaller cars, take turns.
Myself I don`t mind running the 8th scale when the those cars are on the track becase they are so fun to pass !

If people are really worried about their car getting hit by a 1/5th scale, they could pull off the track ?? or they could pull over and let the 1/5th scale car pass by? that would just seem like common sense to me, but I could be wrong? I think some people might be more worried about a dirtbike hitting their car than a 1/5th scale !!

Anyways I love the idea a 1/5th scale class, I might just have to get one!

no beef here......just devils advocate.....like i said earlier....

if multiple 1/5 are allowed to run at the same time as the other scales combined with the fact of newbies-beginners......there will be lots of carnage......

Clearly it is up to The good people at Hardcore and seeing Gump and I have been to this track several times im sure this will not be a problem.
Normally a "track" takes into consideration what is best for the racers and if some may feel uncomfortable being on the track with these cars then they can wait ten minutes or ask the track operator for seperate times for the classes.
The guys take it apon themselves to run when it is best so they can all run together, besides many of us like to watch the 1/5 cars battle it out by themselves, It`s an understanding and a respect thing.

Like Jordan said...It`s an understanding and a respect thing...

just use common sense, it really isn't that hard Nobody will force anyone to race at the same time others cars are running, you can always wait untill the track is clear. Practice is usually the full day, and there is more than enough time to get some practice time in.

Grandmaster G have you ever been to this track?

...umm...Jordan's general reference to "racer"...was meant as anyone who is using or "racing" on the track.

Most people who come to a track are racers anyway ! If you want to "bash" then why would you pay money to run on a track when you can run in a feild or something for free ?

Have you had your Fun Grandmaster? I don't want to have close this thread as it has some potential to bring some newbies out just to see the beasts go around the track as well...
