Hi
I was wondering (without even looking into the engine) that if a bushings engine could be fitted with bearings, for instance the TT.42GP?
If so does anyone know what beaing size would fit (if any) that particular engine.
Thanks

No. Plain bearing (bushed) engines do not have enough "meat" in the front of the case (right behind the drive washer) and in the area in front of the shaft web to hog out for a bearing.

SOme older cases may have enough to put a smaller than usual bearing in them, but all the modern engines are made with minimal material.

It would also be necessary to modify most crankshafts as well, and after they are hardened it is not very easy to machine them, if not impossible.
