i was hoping to find an location where i don't have to worry about trespassing and can get the car fairly close to ice so i don't have lug my equipment to far. I was thinking the north end of fanshawe lake or up by Wildwood park by St Mary's. Or even around Tilsonburg area.

ice

Just a question: Why do you need ice to take off?

What type of plane are you trying to fly?

If I ever get around to it I try and make it to cobble hills flying club. They fly every sunday with mainly combat but visitors are always welcome.

Just an 60 size trainer. Thought the ice might be cool to try to fly off (no pun intended) I just might try to get out to cobble hills and check it out. do you have directions from east Ldn.

cobble hills road

Directions to Cobble Hills Combat Club ... 5282 Cobble Hills Rd

Five or 6 miles --or km, East of London on hwy # 2 . Turn North onto Cobble hills Rd . Procede about 1 mile to the farmhouse in the corn field on the East side of Cobble Hills Rd . Follow the laneway past the white farmhouse. Behind the huge drive shed is our new Cobble Hills Combat field . Pilots may not be visable from the road but we usually have some aircraft in the sky.
