can any one give me some pointers on setting this up, BEFORE i start setting it up.

It's my first one so id like to know if there are any things i need to know or watch out for etc etc.

I really want to give it a shot and see how much better it feels locked in on my Goblin 500..

Re: Mini V-Bar Blue.

dash just a warning. if you go v-bar. hard to go back. lol. ok the v-bar was the nicest controller to set-up for me. very easy and straight forward. just make sure your tx is all zeroed in the menu(i had a little hic-up on that part). the rest is super easy. the pro version is even nicer but express flys sweet too. remember i warned you

I really want to see the difference, im so use to the DIRECCT feel and control the HC3-SX has, and i miss it, i want my 500 to be the same.. The AR7200BX is good, but im not feeling the direct control like the HC3..

So vbar i go..

I'll create a new Model in the TX call it Goblin 500 VB and give it a shot!

Re: Mini V-Bar Blue.

The Demon will feel different than the VBar I AM TOLD. (not necessarily better ... so VBar guys don't get your hairs up ... lol)

Pavel (BD) explained to me that the VBar algorithms are different and kind of lock you into a pattern through prediction almost. He said both fly amazing, but the BD allows you to do some stuff that you can't do with some of the other controllers out there because it's more "direct" ... I wish I spoke Czech because I'm sure a lot of it was lost in translation.

One of our Compass Team Pilots, Forrest, was trying my BD-3SX out while Pavel was tuning my 7HV at IRCHA ... he was a VBar guy, but brought home his 7HV with a BD-3X installed and tuned on it. His comments to me were that "the BD unit has massive potential".

You don't have to fight it doing uncommon maneuvers is what Pavel also noted.

Re: Mini V-Bar Blue.

Cool ... let me know what you think of the VBar. I'm going to install a Gaui VBar (now that I have access to them) on a bird and see how it goes for comparison.

I'm a YGE guy for speed controllers.
