Events in the past tend to shape ones current value and attitude system. We have had a few interesting events at our field that resulted in severe injury and could have resulted in death! No compromise , Safety first.

That is why maidenfest was such a good idea!!!

It was the safest way to maiden all our planes. Lots of experts around to catch problems, everyone there is aware of the situations. Cars parked far away for minimal vehicle risk. In the middle of no where with nothing to hit

Much safer then a typical maiden on a Sunday when there's 40 people out at the field who know nothing about what's going on. Some clubs have almost no gassers. What better way to learn then have experts right there to show them the ropes.

If you want safety look at the facts not at what the lawyers have written. Sometimes people are smarter!

Fact, maac sanctioned club must abide by the maac rules. Fact, laws are not based on fact. Fact, lawyers are representing clients within the scope of the law not facts.

If you want the rule changed approach maac with a better more meaningful rule. You will have a ton of support. Otherwise you will just keep pi$$ing in the wind and your opinion will be unheard because you are wrong in context of safety rule #1 and you will always be wrong until the rule is ammended according to your needs.

17 pages of agreement and then this guy. Maybe if everyone is so wrong and your the only one who is "right", perhaps everyone is actually right and you are wrong.

Ken dont even bother this guy is just trolling for attention instead of learning how to fly. Can you tell the weather is bad outside. No problems when it was nice. Now its snowing and it starts again.

He has no clue what's going on. We are working to have the rules changed. He is un-aware of the conversations in Toledo asking about the rules or the subsequent actions KMAC is taking to get this resolved. If he knew the facts, he would not have anything to complain about because he would know that is what is already happening.

p.s. Dangaras' RC groups profile says he is a "chief trouble maker" so he personally has listed this is what he is about.
