Rc Game?...trainer

I was at a hobby show a few years ago and saw this video game/ simulator for r/c cars/truck racing.

It was similar to the idea behind the g2 flight software...it came with a radio that plugged into you computer.

I am trying to teach my daughter how to drive..and I'd like to keep the rc18 out of the snow banks....so I thought this would be a good start...

anyone know of this...or if its still made.

get the free versio of virtual rc.. and then get the adapter that plugs into the computer and your own receiver..

I think gareth (name thing there) has one.. and loves it...

Check it out... and the game is fun too...

Best thing.. is the adapter is only 29 usd i think, and the game is free, but can have online races too.. and you use your own radio equipment

The duratrax version is pretty cool, we played with it at the IMHE in Chicago last year. I did find the comtroller a little twitchy though

The game you may be thinking of is repackaged under another name by Sierra called "3D Ultra RC Racers". Basically it's the Traxxas game, minus a few things, but I believe the did come out with a second version. Web link below.

I'll warn you, the game has some "campiness" to it, but overall, it's enjoyable.
