Brian I just expected people to take this video with more of a sense of humour. I understand the dangers of the hobby, iv been in it for 14 years and I'v seen all sorts of things, but having people get so aggravated over this just wasn't my intension. I share all sorts of RC videos. I love making them and I love sharing them so to have people react like this is kind of disappointing. I take the hobby seriously in my own way as most of us here can relate to, but to be so concerned about how others think is not something Im worried about. This is our hobby, a hobby thats so open and free to expression and adventure, and especially so full of good fun loving people yet we resort to insulting each other when something like this comes around? Why? I did it, not anyone else. Others wouldn't have done it but I did, and i'll do it again. Iv raced downhill mountain bikes and almost died, I used to race stock cars and almost died, Heck I'v walked down the street and almost died, but thats not going to stop me from living no matter what kind of rules some company imposes on a field or opinions thrown at me by others.

And yes this was on a private field. MAAC has nothing to do with it.

Kyle I too have lived on the edge and in My younger years have gone over it in many activities with scars and implants to show for it. We were forced out of self organized auto racing, motorcycles, boat racing, and had to head into the back country with our snowmobiles in order to let-er rip T.W.O. .. Having been in this hobby since 1980 off and on between other adventures seeking that adrenaline rush I just do not want to see this hobby inhibited in in places for us to fly and enjoy in our own disciplines.

So please understand why I object so much to participants publicly displaying the possible dangers of what we do.

Be good to yourself and we will all have way too much fun.
