Well, I consider this weekend my first "rc weekend" of the year. Sure, I have flown a half dozen times allready this year but this weekend we finally got onto our field (dried up nicely) and I flew some giant scale, down to 3 of my 1/2A planes and a 40 size funfly plane too. Both yesterday and today - and no accidents and nothing acting up.

It was a beautifull sunny weekend, light breeze and no bugs yet. What a great feeling, to get out and enjoy flying!

Crappy weekend here in Moncton. We've had 30 mm of rain in the last 24 hrs.

I'm with you Mike!

Here in Halifax, the last three weekends all washed out. It was sunny and warm with very little wind all week and then this crap on the weekend. How is Fredericton holding out this weekend? This rain is all they need after the flooding caused by last week's rain. I'll bet there will be a big rush on canoe sales.

Cheers!

Our student program started on Sat. Very few actually showed up Those that did got lots of flights with several instructors standing by. Most important, no incidents.

I finally got to test fly my electric with it's new brushless setup (TCap III Yak 54) and WOW, we had a hoot

All in all, a great weekend indeed just east of Toronto.

Funny thing, I always consider it a good flying day when I get to bring home everything in one piece...

But, at our club in the past week there has been a mid air totalling two airplanes, one hot dogging wreck totalling the airframe, and one fellow lost his in a low level hover when the engine died. 4 planes in a week withonly 20 odd members...

My goal is to fly as much as possible this summer and have no wrecks (ok no more wrecks, as I allready dinged my Mig 15 a month ago )

We are getting rain now... but I had my fun before the clouds rolled in

flying

This weekend was really good. I ended up flying friday night, sat afternoon and sunday afternoon. I am working out the bugs out of my fleet. Although at our field the wind was changing directions all the time.

Really good weekend

I worked on our City's Vets Memorial Lancaster bomber on Saturday morning. We're getting ready to remove it from it's pedilstal and start restoring it for the new museum.
Saturday afternoon went out to our field and flew the new trainer. Worked out some of the bugs and then flew and FINALLY received my WINGS.
I've only had 23 flights over 4 years but I got my WINGS. :P

What a great feeling..................YAHOOOOOOOOO!!!
Look out seagulls......another bird flying at ya..............

A Ha I see I converted someone else to Yaks... even if it is electric.

Bob how did she fly? I looked at this but thought is was more of an indoor model.
