Anyone know where I can buy fiberglass tubes in the 1/2 to 3/4" range around Kitchener or Toronto?

Re: Fiberglass tubes

I would rather buy them finished if I can. I want to use them as fuselage stiffeners in some profile airplanes. They can be ordered from the US, but shipping kills you.

Re: Fiberglass tubes

If you don't mind it being tapered, you could use a carbon fibre golf club shaft. I got a few for nothing from a local golf supply store that were from busted clubs.

Re: Fiberglass tubes

I think arrows might be too small a diameter, but I'll check them out. Thanks.

Re: Fiberglass tubes

Same problem here, I have a KX2 short kit that arrived missing the fiberglass tubes. .505 OD from Kitbuilder. So far the kit supplier keeps promising to send the tubes but we started asking in Sept. so I think there might be no satisfaction.
The link is good but $69.00+!!!! I can order from the US pay the oversize charges and still come out in the black.
I was directed to try P&A Plastics in Hamilton, have used them in the past for coreplast. 4'x8' sheets. Have not called yet as I was promised the missing tubes again last week.
Eric.
