OK, I had an original Blade CP, and I could never get the hang of it, but I thought I would give the Heli thing another shot.
I picked up my MCX after a night of racing 12th carpet, and was pretty excited to drive the 2.5 hours home and open this little gem up.
I opened the box, put the battery in and it was flying. It comes with everything you need to get going, including the 8 AA's you need for the radio and lipo charger.
Well, it took me about a 1 battery pack to get the hang of the MCX, but now I'm loving it. I've been playing with the heli most of the day, and I have a hard time putting it down to get other things accomplished.
It is not a super quality unit, but for some cheap fun that takes a beating, at $149 ish, it's a good deal. I was thinking about those long breaks between buggy qualifiers this summer, and having this little guy to play with back at the trailer is going to be great.

Blade MCX

I picked up a used MCX here and i have enjoyed the heli ever since. You don't need a big area to fly it, and it's a tough little unit. Buying a second battery pack made all the difference for me, as I can fly and charge the extra battery at the same time. The only concern I have with it is the battery connectors, they are very small and if you bend a pin it will be hard to bend it back, let alone see it.
