That buggy is siiiiiiiiiiiiick Louie!!! Can't wait to see it go bud. Hopefully not as prone to blowing over as the 1/10 AE truck you had out that one night. LOL...

That's one HELL of a set-up too I might add. Always meticulous to the little details. It's your trademark.

Very nice thread so far. Thanks for starting it. I love the 1/8th scale electrics.
I just finished building my RC8Te a week or so ago. So far I have run two packs through it. I skipped all the build pics and just put up the finished ones.
Here is a couple pics and a short video a friend took at the Dorc track on Saturday. Thanks for looking.

Attachment 5917

Chassis: AE RC8
Conversion: RC Product Design
Motor: Neu 1512 2.5D
ESC: Mamba Max (My Monster should be coming back soon from repair)
Battery: SMC 4s 5000mAh 40c, Yungton 4s 5000mAh

Not a very clean setup, but it works. It should look cleaner once I get my monster back.
I used coat hanger wire to hold the fan in place around the motor. Before the fan I was getting 170 to 180 motor temps regardless of what pinion I was using, from 16 to 20 tooth. I put the fan in and I can run it all day without it going over 120.

It was alot of fun to see them run. Anyways here is my 8th scale buggy. It's an Team Associated RC8E. I am using the new RX8 Tekin ESC and I love it. Works perfect and it is a dual mode ESC for sensored and sensorless motors. For the motor I am using the Neu 1512 2D F..amazing motor, tons of power and really smooth. For the lipo's I am using the pair of Thunder Power 40c 5000mAh together to get a 4cell with 10000mAh. These lipo's are crazy and have a ton of power to offer. Well that's my RC8E and here are some pics of it. Enjoy

Hey Louie: If you put those 2 packs together in series you will double the voltage to 14.8 but the Mah rating is still 5000. If you connected them in parallel then you would get 10000 mah but a voltage of 7.4.
