Re: "Look at what I got today" thread.
I've always wanted to get an 1/8th scale but never bothered because no one around me has an 1/8th scale to run with.
I have always wanted a Mugen or Kyosho Inferno,I remember when they first came out I they called them Kyosho Burns then changed the name to the Inferno. I think you will really enjoy your new car did it come as a it and are planning on racing it at all. |

Re: "Look at what I got today" thread.
Thank you. After I bought it I realized how unpopular this "sport" is here; there are no tracks, no competitions. I ride it at work since I have a lot of asphalt available, but that's it. I've read people race 5th scale vehicles on tracks in the middle of nowhere...
Looking at it retrospectively, it was a waste of financial resources. Last edited by aldebaran18; 08-13-2018 at 12:42 PM. |

Re: "Look at what I got today" thread.
I hear you the waste of money part I made a few really stupid choices over the years that were purchased on a whim.
If you look for tracks in the gta area there are a few places they race try calling hobby hobby or big boys with cool toys and ask them if they know where there are some tracks because I seen on RC TV not that long ago they were racing in the gta. I know the big thing that always stopped me from buying an 1/8th scale was the fact that the tire's are so soft and wear out so fast unlike the E-MAXX tire's that last along time,I also had one of the first E-MAXX's and you couldn't kill the first gen Terra style tires they had you could spin them as much as you wanted on pavement or dirt and they just never wore out plus I got a true hand wound Nue Motor that is basically the same as the brushless caste motor that is in the E-MAXX now but the one I had was a bit more powerful. |

Re: "Look at what I got today" thread.
Actually the soft tires are quite wear resistant on asphalt and clay; my other buggy was fitted with harder tires and the thread is all gone now.
